What this app is
WalkyCub is entertainment: a virtual pet that reacts to how many steps you take. It is not a medical device and not a diagnostic tool.
Beta
The app is handed out as an APK while it is in beta. Expect bugs, lost progress and changes to how things work. We try to avoid all three, but we do not promise uninterrupted service.
Step accuracy
Step counts come from your device sensor and depend on how you carry the phone. Differences from other apps are normal. Do not treat these numbers as health measurements.
Your health
Talk to a doctor before significantly increasing your physical activity. The dragon does not care how fast you walk — it matters that you are safe.
Assets
The artwork, the pet sprites and the design belong to the authors of the project. Copying the assets into other apps without permission is not allowed.
